About us
We are a fellowship centred on the simple, verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible — in Persian and in English.
Calvary Chapel Persia exists to teach the Bible clearly to Persian speakers, wherever in the world they are. We publish written studies, recorded teaching and podcasts, and we make all of it freely available.
What we believe
We hold to the historic Protestant confession: that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority in faith and practice; that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone; and that every believer is called to grow through the steady, unhurried study of Scripture.
How we teach
We teach through books of the Bible rather than around topics — beginning at the first verse and working to the last. It is slower, and it means we cannot avoid the difficult passages. That is rather the point: it lets Scripture set the agenda instead of us.
Who this is for
For anyone who wants to understand the Bible: the long-time believer, the person exploring Christianity for the first time, and the reader who has questions they have never felt able to ask aloud. Everything here is free, and always will be.
